birthday cake revisited

As promised, Emmel sent the photes of the chocolate cobbler process. Spread the batter:
Sprinkle the topping.
Pour the water.
Bake and enjoy.I had some for dessert last night. The sauce thickened quite a bit in the fridge, and I decided not to warm the cake before putting my mint chocolate chip ice cream on top. It was the right choice, as the cake was a thousand times more delicious to me not hot. Who knew? The sauce is so rich and creamy and chocolatey, and I looooooooooved it. I can't wait to have more tonight.
