revisited: curried sweet potato soup with kale and black eyed peas

Remember how I made up a soup recipe a couple weeks ago and said I'd try it again? Last night I did.

I followed the exact recipe from before, but I didn't puree the veggies once the sweet potatoes were tender. You know how I like a smooth soup? This soup is much better chunky. EDW was right-- the texture of the soup really is special, and it's nice to see what all's in it. Edwin gave the smooth soup a 6.5 or 7. He gives the chunky soup an 8.
The broth is lovely, and the whole thing is really nice. Make it and let me know what you think. Thanks, preesh.
